Ajibade Awoyemi

Ajibade Awoyemi graduated with an ordinary national diploma in 1996 and a higher national in 2000. With its rich colour and subtly modulated contrasts of dark and light. In this painting and many others Ajibade takes the viewer with him right to the edge of the scene and then into it. Since 2003 he has featured prominently in many group exhibitions. He is a member of the society of Nigerian artist (SNA) and he is a founding member of the defactori art studio Lagos. Is a full time studio artist based in Lagos.
