Ogaga Tuodeinye

Ogaga Tuodeinye’s bold and confident strokes are complementary to this figurative analysis and deep understanding of colour. More than anything else, he has relied and capitalized on colour to recapture and form. His penchant for naturalistic approach to his thematic ruminations makes his stories much more clearly understood by his listener (viewers).

Ever since this graduation ten year ago from yaba art school, he has executed many themes in various media: oil, watercolour, gouache, acrylic, yet he considers all as experiments until recently when he began another  round of experimentation to now arrive at what he calls leather collage. In this process, he cuts leather sheets into small sizes and regular shapes which he then arranges to evoke forms and express desired ideas.
